'DISMISSAL ORDER, NOT TRUE' - ALBAYALDE

Philippine National Police Chief General Oscar Albayalde strongly denied rumors suggesting his removal from office amid the "ninja cops" controversy.

Albayalde acknowledged that public officials can be "expendable," but emphasized that it is the President who will make the final decision. "Let the president decide. He will review the Senate report," he added, noting that he had already briefed on the status of the "ninja cops" and the anti-drug campaign.

He also declared his readiness to appear before the Senate inquiry as a resource person the next day.

Meanwhile, MalacaƱang said there are no new directives regarding his status.
